*The OPD coverage is applicable at all hospitals and clinics which offer treatment by modern medical practitioners. No advance payment is necessary at Bangkok Life Assurance PCL contract hospitals and when the expense incurred does not exceed the coverage per visit specified in the policy table. (The insured may check the list of affiliated hospitals at www.bangkoklife.com)

  • The coverage term and the premium payment term are one year. The coverage can be purchased continuously to match the coverage term of a health rider (new health standard) to which the ordinary OPD plan (OPD Sabai Jai) endorsement is attached. The maximum coverage term is until age 99 years.
  • OPD Benefit Endorsement (Normal) (OPD Sabaijai Endorsement) can be purchased and attached with new policy or existing policy that is still effective. The endorsement must be purchased and attached with one of the following health riders (new health standard):
    - BLA Happy Health
    - Value Health
    - Value Health (Kids)
    - Prestige Health Plan 10 million and 30 million

(The insured can purchase only one OPD Benefit Endorsement (Normal) (OPD Sabai Jai Endorsement) per policy. The maximum OPD coverage allowed to be purchased is determined based on total room & board benefit amount from all health riders under the same policy. However, the total OPD coverage for all policies must not exceed 2,000 baht).

The OPD Benefit Endorsement (Normal) (OPD Sabai Jai Endorsement) will not cover any injury or illness listed in the exclusion specified in the attached health rider which is still in-force.

  1. OPD Sabai Jai is the commercial name of the insurance coverage. The insurance plan specified in the policy is the OPD ordinary plan (OPD Sabai Jai) endorsement.

  6. OPD Sabai Jai insurance premiums can be adjusted based on factors such as age, occupation, increased medical expenses, or the overall claims payment within the insured’s portfolio.
  7. The premiums for the OPD ordinary plan (OPD Sabai Jai) endorsement are eligible for personal income tax deductions subject to the criteria set by the revenue department.
